Things we love...

It's February, the month of LOVE, so I thought I'd share a few things that we're loving right now.

I wanted to find something new to do with Amelia every evening at bedtime.  I found this One Year devotions book for her age.  I found it at our Christian book store.  She loves it.  She spent the night with her Daddygrand and Nana on Saturday evening and was asking if we could do two devotions last night since she missed one.  She remembers! They're one page devotions and include a Bible verse and prayer at the end of each one. It's great for her age.

We received these in the mail today and already love them.  I was planning to save them for Valentine's Day but Amelia saw me open them and wanted to start playing with them immediately.  They're called Discovery Tubes.  My friend, Sarah makes them.  She has an etsy shop and all of the proceeds go towards their adoption!  Amelia keeps shaking them and finding new treasures inside.  She also keeps saying she found an M&M but I'm quite certain Sarah does not add candy to the tubes. ;)

This is the month that you start seeing girl scouts show up at your door!  We of course love girl scout cookies, but one of the things I really love is something my friend, Amanda shared with me.  She is taking orders for girl scout cookies and sending them to our troops!  It's called the cookie share program.  I love this.  It's such a small thing but means so much to the men and women fighting for us in a BIG way, y'all.  If you're interested in purchasing some girl scout cookies for our troops overseas, email me and I will get you in contact with Amanda!  They're only $3.50 a box!

And finally, I'm really loving these two sweet things.  Sydney missed Amelia while she was at her Grandparents.  She is still sick from double ear infections/strep and was so happy to see her "Sissy", as she calls her.  It's so cute to hear her say it when Amelia walks in the room!

We have lots to do for our Valentine party coming up this weekend.  I better get to it.

Happy Monday!

Love to all,
