Cinco de Mayo...

I thought that I would share a yummy recipe with you in honor of Cinco de Mayo. My sister gave me this recipe and I LOVE it! It's supposed to be the Mexico Chiquito punch recipe. Alex loves this punch and I have to admit, it tastes just like what you get at the restaurant!

Here's what you need to make it...

You'll also need to make a simple syrup. This is the first time I've ever made a simple syrup. It really is simple. Ha! Bring one cup of water + one cup of sugar to a boil (until sugar is dissolved). Remove from heat.

Next part is even easier...

Mix 1 can of pineapple juice + 1 frozen can of lemonade + 1 pkg of cherry kool-aid + 2 Tbsp Instant Tea. Pour in simple syrup and fill the rest of the way with cold water. Whisk together.

Pour yourself a glass and enjoy!!

Goes perfectly with cheese dip & salsa! :)

Happy Cinco de Mayo, y'all!

Love to all,

I actually made about 3 gallons of punch yesterday! It was an amazing day for everyone. We all gather up in a friends house late last night to party. And of course I volunteered to bring the punch (well, I can't cook but I'm a pro at mixing punches)!

Looks great, but when you say fill with cold water, how much cold water? Or what size container are you using?
