I no longer know how to take a shower before noon.
I call my husband to describe the boogers that our daughter blows out of her nose. Color, size, etc. He greatly appreciates this.
I talk about my daughter's bowel movements. A lot.
9:30 is my new bedtime.
I rarely leave my house anymore.
It takes about 4 hours to get ready when I do.
And then I'm ready for another nap.
I have a new wardrobe.....Need to go to the store - yoga pants. Appointment to get my hair cut - grabbing the yoga pants. Time for church - let me find my yoga pants. Formal Christmas party - I think I'll wear my little black yoga pants.
I could go on and on, but you get the idea.
A baby truly changes everything.
For the better of course. :)

And speaking of A Baby Changing Everything. I was up feeding Amelia at who-knows-what-time-it-was and caught a concert on tv. Faith Hill performed several songs from her Christmas cd and she sang that song. Oh.my.word. Can you say, bawl your eyes out? Beautiful song. Must buy her new cd.
Love to all!

It's true! But- you'll feel more "human" again soon- promise! :) LOVE that cutie name on her bottom- such a sweet pic! :)
Those bloomers are SO CUTE!!!! I love 'em! And thank you for the comment on my blog - I'm glad you confirmed that my spicy craving is a real-life pregnancy symptom!
So true, so true! Always tack on an extra hour if you have to get out the door, LOL!
I SOOOO relate! It does get a little better, but things are never the same, that's for sure!
Saying a prayer for you and your girl!
What a cute picture! I can't wait for my life to change.
LOL! Hey, I wish I could get away with wearing yoga pants everyday. I did just that during my vacation last week. So dang comfortable! Everyone should wear yoga pants.
:-)
LOVE IT!! Especially the yoga pants! Almost 3 years later and those are STILL my go-to pants!!! They do change everything but it is the best change ever!! Love hearing about it all from you!
oh and i think that you went to a high school that my small high school played in basketball~i recognized your brother~I think he used to keep score at some of the games. i'll send you a private message about it :)
Yoga pants are THE BEST!!! Seeing Amelia so tiny just make me wanna have another... lol! Love ya!!
Such a sweet post! She's a little angel =)
This is so precious! Thanks for sharing!!
So true! It will get easier though, trust me!
I second the "bowel movement talk." My oldest daughter is 3 years old and we STILL talk about poop!! Never in my life did I think I would ever be so consumed with poop. ha! OH, and just remember, it is harder and more time consuming to get them ready when they have a mind of their own. My baby right now (8 months old) EASY....the 3 year old..IMPOSSIBLE!!! =)
