Ice Ice Baby...

All right stop, collaborate and listen
Ice is back with my brand new invention...

I'll stop there. That's enough to have this song in your head for the rest of the day.

You're welcome.

We woke up this morning and I said, "Milla-Vanilla the ice is coming, the ice is coming!!"

You can see her excitement...

Opened the blinds and this is what we saw. Our dead bushes - covered in ice. That's right folks, it's the Ice Storm of 2010!!

Luckily, we went to the store and stocked up on all of the necessities. Yes, those are hot dogs. Don't judge me. When you're in the store, stocking up for the Ice Storm of 2010 - you aren't in your right mind. Logically, if you're stuck in the house for days, you need hot dogs and powdered donuts to go with your organic milk.

A new magazine for my reading pleasure.

And "Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs." Amelia keeps snoozing on me. I'm hoping she will stay awake long enough for us to watch it.

Unfortunately, Alex had to go to work. It's his own fault. He drives this and it evidently gets around - despite the conditions. Boo!! If only he drove a geo metro, he could be snuggled up with his girls right now.

Hope you're snuggled up in front of the fire, enjoying a day at home too!

Love to all,

Mmmmmm those are a lot of my favorite foods! We would be set too if we were getting iced in. My son drinks/eats Good Start as well. Have you found anywhere that carries it for a good price? I was wondering if Sam's or Costco does. Stay warm!

Hot dogs! That's what I forgot to get when I was at the store!! Are those donuts I see in the back?? Yummy! This might be a dumb question but how did you get that writing on your pic and how do you get the corners to be rounded??

We used that same formula with Olivia and loved it! She had reflux REALLY bad and that formula plus her medicine for it really helped!
You mentioned something else I had in the past too~a Geo Metro...that was my first car and it was purple! Ahh such memories~mini unsafe memories! hahaha
Stay warm and enjoy your cuddles!

I stocked up on Thursday and had a lady behind me who had nothing but healthy organic foods in her cart. I didn't even know they sold organic milk until I saw hers. I'll have to check it out, but I'm thinking the 4 gallons we drink a week would make it too expensive. I felt like a loser with all my convenience foods on the belt. I had pre-made sandwiches for me to take to school (better than stopping at burger king!) and other lunch stuff for the kids. But yeah, I was totally feeling judged though she probably wasn't paying any attention. lol
And I see my house!
