Laughter is the best medicine...

Thank you all for your prayers for my family. I am so thankful that my Papa is in heaven and is cancer free...in no more pain. I'm thankful that I was able to say goodbye and tell him that I loved him before he passed. He had been battling cancer for several years. He was tired. He was ready to go home to be with his Heavenly Father. There is comfort in knowing that I will see him again!

I was playing with Amelia yesterday and she started laughing for the first time. Sorry the video is so dark. I grabbed my camera and started shooting and didn't think to turn on the lights in the living room.

Laughter is truly the best medicine for an aching heart. :)

Love to all,

Jill,
My Audrey loved watching Amelia laugh. She laughed herself and said that she knows Amelia. Hmmm.

It is hard to be sad with a baby around. The mouth naturally curves into a smile when you look at a baby - especially your own!

I think that she looks more like her daddy all the time.

I'm sooo sorry for your loss! I will keep you in my prayers.... We lost my hubby's dad to Cancer 5 years ago and my dad instantly passed from a sudden heart attack when Kelcee was 5 mths old!

I remember planning his funeral a mess and when I got home Kelcee giggled and smiled real big and it just melted my heart! God has a way of making things o.k. even when there not....if that makes sense....

Dearest Jill...

My grandpa passed last spring, and I felt the same way. He'd had years of dialysis and every surgery and ailement imaginable. I was glad that he wasn't suffering and was finally at peace.

Sending my love to you and your family.

So sorry about your grandfather!!! Mine passed away before Christmas...unexpectedly...it was so hard, but Carson really helped cheer us up with his smiles and laughter. Nothing like a new life!!! Carson has cheered up my entire family during this tough time of missing my grandpa. I am sure your little girl will do the same, no doubt with that laugh!
