Back from vacay...

Well, we're back from vacation. We normally vacation in Florida...we love Destin and we LOVE the beach!! BUT we decided that we should take a year off from Florida. Since we have a baby on the way, IVFs to pay off, a nursery to furnish/decorate, and did I mention we have a baby on the way? We do look forward to taking litte miss A to the beach, next year though! There's no way we could skip the beach two years in a row. :)

This year, we spent a week on the lake. I was able to do what I wanted...rest and shop. And Alex was able to do what he wanted...fish 24 hrs a day. Seriously, he and my nephew would get up at 5am every morning to go fishing. CRAZY! I was snoozing until almost 10am every day. Lovely. :) I didn't have a lot of pics on my camera. Most of them are on my S-I-L's camera, so I might be posting more later, but for now...here are a few from the week. I also included my belly shots from the past two weeks.

24 weeks

25 weeks...I'm lookin' a hot-mess in these pics. We took this as soon as we got back from the lake. LOL

My friend, Nat sent me this cute t-shirt, so I decided to take my 25 week belly shot in it. I LOVE IT! Thank you, Nat...love you!

We started the week off by eating at Jose's. I had a yummy cheese enchilada and ate way too much cheese dip. Here's Dad, Mom & lil' J...he loved the salsa! :)

Jackson giving his Daddy some love

Pryce caught the first fish!!

Alex and I walked downtown Hot Springs one day and found The Fudge Shoppe. They make all of their own candies...I was in heaven! :)

The best chocolate malt ever!

And fresh squeezed lemonade!

We ended our vacation, this morning, by eating breakfast at one of my faves...The English Muffin

This was my breakfast...ginormous biscuits and gravy...DE-LISH!

Me and my sweetie

We had a little scare the last night of vacation. It was about 10pm...I went to the bathroom and had some bleeding. Needless to say, I was scared to death. I couldn't stop crying. Alex called my doctor and they wanted us to drive back to our hospital for one of our doctors to check me and little miss A. Alex stays so calm in situations like that. He just prayed in my ear and told me that everything was going to be fine. They monitored A for over an hour and she was just fine. I think she wanted us to leave her alone, because they would move the doppler and she would kick it everytime. (LOL) She moved and kicked the entire time, which was very comforting for me. I was able to breathe, once I heard her heartbeat and they said she was fine. They don't know why I was bleeding and by this morning, it had stopped. As I was laying in the hospital bed, I told my Mom that I can't believe how attached I ALREADY am to this baby girl. I'm already worried sick about her and she's still inside of me. Mom assured me that the worry only gets worse, once she's here. This baby girl already has my heart...that's for sure. I'm just thanking God that everything is okay.

I had a fun pick-me-up, upon arriving home! On top of the cute t-shirt that Nat sent me, I had a couple of packages in the mail for little miss A!

Look at these cute bows!! My friend, Cheryl made these!! Thank you so much Cheryl - I love them! Cheryl is one of my blog friends that I've had the pleasure to pray for and God answered our prayers!! He has blessed her and Ryan with little miss Hannah...arriving December 2009!

I also received this cute doll from BB & MTB. I'm not linking them because their blog is private. I've actually had the pleasure of meeting BB & MTB in person AND their sweet miracle baby! You guys are precious...thank you for thinking of our baby girl. I know she's going to love her Princess Sophie doll! :)

Well, I guess that's all for now. Though I could have spent another week on the lake...there's still no place like home. :)

Love,

I usually like their zipped PJ's, but I didn't like any of the prints today. I got Elijah's 'going home from hospital' outfit there and loved it, but didn't like any of the newborn stuff today.
You are definitely right about having more stuff for older kids. I was really disappointed in the lack of deals.
I just checked out Kohls.com though. I think I'll be making a trip there. I don't need much, but I do need a few things. Looked like they had a lot.
And yes, if we end up sharing a car I think it will be the hardest thing our marriage has ever endured! David isn't real good at remembering what is going on in my life, even if I tell him, email him, remind him, message him... doesn't matter. And that would be a bit of a problem :)

So thankful everything with your little babe is okay, how frightening, I can't even imagine! I can't wait for you to experience holding her for the first time, there are no words to explain it. I can't wait for you to experience it soon!
