The Polar Express...

We took the girls to ride The Polar Express in Branson.

We bought tickets last year, but the weather was so bad, they ended up canceling the week we were supposed to go.

We went with my brother and his family.

It was pretty cold that weekend.

The girls weren't expecting it to be an actual train. They were picturing one of those tiny trains, like they ride at the zoo.

Needless to say, they were pretty excited when they saw the train!

They had a snow machine going as you walked on and off the train.

We sat First Class aboard The Silver Chef.

Sydney was sleepy by the time we boarded the train. Look at those tired eyes.

Tickets, please...tickets!

It was Alex's birthday weekend and he chose to do this for his girls.

One of the many reasons I love this man.

I think Krystal and I had as much fun as the girls.

I found myself smiling the entire time.

It makes you feel like a kid again. And seeing your kiddos have so much fun, definitely puts a smile on your face.

We were served all the hot chocolate and cookies we could hold.

They read the Polar Express and walked to aisles showing pictures from the book.

They also had people playing instruments and leading in Christmas carols. I loved that part!

And then jolly St. Nick arrived!

He thought Kandace and Amelia were twins.

Kandace was so cute. She is a BIG BELIEVER.

Sydney receiving her silver bell from Santa.

Amelia didn't want to get near Santa.

Sydney wanted her picture taken but only if Daddy held her.

She was obviously thrilled.

This baby girl was ready for bed.

We had a great time and will definitely do it again!

We ended the evening with Steak 'n Shake. I forgot how much I love their burgers and fries...yum!

The next day, we went shopping in Branson.

It was pouring down rain the entire day, but that didn't stop us.

Krystal was smart enough to bring a hat. I had to pick one up while there.

Nothing makes you feel prettier than walking in the rain ALL DAY.

Sydney was on her best behavior at lunch.

We bought everyone an umbrella. Sydney felt like such a big girl.

This might be my favorite picture of the entire weekend.

There was a Santa having lunch and Kandace spotted him - I snapped a picture through the glass.

She ran inside to talk to him all by herself.

So cute.

3 Amigos.

Or Stooges?

We had a blast and can't wait to visit Branson again!

Love to all,
