We have a few traditions for Christmas Eve.
#1. I bake candy cane cookies with my girls.
My Mama used to make these every Christmas.
It's one of the things I remember and loved about Christmastime when I was a little girl.
Sometimes they come out looking like candy canes....sometimes they don't.
But they always taste yummy!
It's an almond flavored sugar cookie.
And these two are always proud of their work in the kitchen.
They just show it differently.
#2. The girls exchange gifts.
This is the first year that Sydney could really choose something on her own.
She was excited to give something to Amelia that she picked out all by herself.
There were lots of giggles and hugs.
#3. We deliver Christmas gifts to our neighbors.
We delivered homemade cinnamon rolls and sparkling cider this year!
#4. We put on Christmas pajamas and head to our Christmas Eve service at church.
It starts at 11:30 P.M. and ends at midnight.
It's always a LONG day, but we love every minute of it!
