Playing dress-up...

We went last night and bought Amelia's big girl car seat. We've been asking friends/family and looking at reviews and decided on the Britax Boulevard. As soon as we walked into Babies R Us, we see a Britax Boulevard sitting there on sale. $85 off the original price because they're discontinuing the color. It wasn't the color I was planning on buying her, but at $85 off, it quickly became my favorite color. I think Amelia likes it!



Joy came over today to help me get all of my Christmas stuff packed away and to help me organize the guest room closet. It's the closet that holds all of my seasonal items, gifts that I've picked up, plates & napkins for parties, tablecloths, etc. I wish I had thought to take pictures before we started, but trust me when I say, we had a mess. This is the finished result. I really need a closet four times the size of this one, but I do with what I have. :)



Working in the closet gave me a great idea. While we were in there - why doesn't Joy just put on my wedding dress and veil and let me take a picture of her? I wanted to play dress up! My sister being the wonderful person that she is, agreed to do it. I mean, if I can't fit into it - I might as well put people into it that can. I even made her a little bouquet of flowers to hold. Isn't she a cute bride? This picture brought me great joy. It made my day. We were talking about how if we were getting married today, we would choose TOTALLY DIFFERENT dresses. (LOL) This dress was the first one that I looked at and I loved it. I was a 19 year old bride and it was very modest and sweet, exactly what I wanted.



Thanks sis...for coming over to help me organize and for being a good, skinny sport by putting on my wedding dress. It seriously made my day. :)

Sisters are the best.
